Judging will begin at 12 noon and each team will be competing for first place with ribs, brisket, chicken, and pork. Set aside from all of the fun, one of the most important aspects of the Hammond Smokin’ BBQ Challenge is that the event raises money for deserving non-profit organizations of Tangipahoa Parish. All proceeds will be going to local charities and Special Olympics Louisiana is one of the 11 beneficiaries. Hammond Smokin’ BBQ Challenge is an event where BBQ lovers and the community can come together as one to have a ton of fun in experiencing great people, great food, and great music. We hope to see you there!
