For the second year in a row, Finish Line, a leading athletic shoe retailer has chosen Special Olympics to be one of the beneficiaries of the Finish Line Youth Foundation’s in-store and online holiday customer and employee donation campaign. This campaign is being held in Finish Line stores nationwide from November 1 – December 31, 2013. The first $1 million raised will be donated to Special Olympics. Read more
Kimberly Sosonka’s brother has autism, but that is the last thing that she sees in him. The 20 year old writes in a recent blog post of what type of r-words her brother is… ridiculous and respectful to name a few. She goes on to say, “what he isn’t is retarded.”
