Did you know that A Very Special Christmas Record Album is performed by outstanding artists and benefits Special Olympics? Through bold innovation and enormous generosity, the record industry has made beautiful music for Special Olympics athletes since 1987. From the first, released in 1987, and marking a 25th anniversary in 2012, the benefit recording series has become the largest financial source in Special Olympics’ history. These holiday classics bring joy to the world and help people with intellectual disabilities through the power of sports.
Special Olympics Ambassador, Lauren Alaina, has recently released a single, “Grown Up Christmas List” on iTunes and it will benefit Special Olympics! The song is also a part of the “A Very Special Christmas” series.
Be sure to support Lauren in her efforts in raising money for our Special Olympics athletes this holiday season!
