COMPETITION SCHEDULE: Competitions will be held on
- Saturday, March 5 from 9 AM to 4 PM
- Sunday, March 6 from 8 AM to 2 PM
- Bowling – All Star Lanes & Circle Bowl
- Basketball – Team Automotive Group Sportsplex
- Tennis – Independence Park (Indoor Tennis Courts)

OPENING CEREMONIES: Opening Ceremonies will be held Friday, March 4 at Team Automotive Group Sportsplex (7122 Perkins Rd Baton Rouge, LA 70808) at 7:00 PM.
OLYMPIC TOWN and HEALTHY ATHLETES: will be held at Sherwood Middle School on Saturday, March 5, 2016 (9am-2pm)
VOLUNTEERS: A support staff of more than 1,000 volunteers will work at the Games. They will serve in jobs ranging from coaching, to food preparation, to officiating.

Special Olympics Louisiana Athletes Depart Today for World Summer Games in Los Angeles, CA!
Special Olympics Louisiana has selected four (4) athletes, one (1) unified partner, and one (1) sport manager from the entire state of Louisiana to attend the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games. The Games will be held July 25-August 2, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA. Today, Monday, July 20th from 5pm-6pm at The Edward Dufresne Community Center in Luling, LA, members of the local community will also be in attendance to “send-off” the delegation with congratulations. We hope to see you there to join us in wishing the best of luck to those heading to compete.

There are nearly 7,000 athletes and 3,000 coaches, 30,000 volunteers and delegates from all over the world expected to attend and compete in the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
