With the help of our Law Enforcement Torch Run comrades this event is attracting hundreds of people to an otherwise deserted waterhole in the winter season. Individuals from all walks of life have committed to raise $50 and take the plunge for thousands of Special Olympics Louisiana athletes! Our annual Freezin’ for a Reason Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge (R) for Special Olympics Louisiana is this month! We will have three location for you to choose from: February 8th in Shreveport, February 15th in Lake Charles and February 22nd in Gonzales. The 4th Annual Freezin’ for a Reason was this past Saturday, January 28th at Cabela’s in Gonzales. Over 100 people jumped into the icy lake Saturday morning all in the name of Special Olympics Louisiana. Teams from across the region were present, See More pictures from the event.
