State Summer Games

Join us May 19-21 in Hammond, LA for our 2017 State Summer Games. This is an event for all Areas. Male and female athletes from across the state will compete in Athletics (Track & Field), Bocce, Power Lifting, and Unified Volleyball. Sign up today to play, coach or volunteer for this event. Volunteer at State Summer Games

Special Olympics Louisiana will host theState Summer Games the weekend of May 19th-May 21st. Opening Ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. The games will be held at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.

This is a great way to start off your Summer in the beautiful Louisiana weather. Bring some friends and come join our volunteers!

State Golf and Cycling

You don’t want to miss out on the last day of our Special Olympics Louisiana’s 2017 State Golf and Cycling. So, grab some friends and head over to Chennault Park in Monroe. You can join the rest of the fans in the stands and help cheer on our athletes.

Special Olympics Louisiana State Indoor Games for 2017 will be hosted in Baton Rouge again this year on Friday, March 3rd- Sunday, March 5th.

We encourage community members and family to come out and attend Friday nights Opening Ceremony. We could not do it without all of our supporters!

2017 State Indoor Games

The 2017 Special Olympics Louisiana State Indoor Games are coming to Baton Rouge! Nearly 500 athletes who have qualified from various local and area competitions will be able to participate in basketball, bowling, and tennis matches.  Opening Ceremonies will be held March 3rd at Team Automotive  Group Sportsplex beginning at 7:00 PM, with competitions following on March 4th and 5th.

There will be lots of entertainment over the weekend, including the arrival of the Olympic torch, the Parade of Athletes, the lighting of the Olympic Flame of Hope by Local Law Enforcement officers, and much more! We encourage all community members, family, and media to come out and support our SOLA athletes! All events, including all competitions, are free and open to the public.
