Camp Shriver- Lafayette


Camp Shriver Lafayette will take place Monday, June 18th, through Friday, June 22nd, from 9am-2pm. This camp will feature athletes and partners from the Evangeline, St. Landry, Acadia, Lafayette, Vermillion, Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Mary Areas.

Camp Shriver brings together people with and without intellectual disabilities for training and competition each summer.  The primary goals are to provide another level of challenge and promote inclusion.

Opening Ceremonies is TONIGHT!

State Fall Classic will take place in Carencro, LA on beginning tonight and will feature 750 Special Olympics Louisiana athletes and partners competing in aquatics, horseshoes, and softball!  We will start the weekend with Opening Ceremonies TONIGHT, October 14th for 6:30pm at  Pelican Park.  All are invited to witness the Parade of Athletes and Flame of Hope!

Competitions will kick off Saturday, October 15th and run through Sunday, October 16th. Join us tonight and be a Fan in the Stands for Opening Ceremonies!

Game Changer Softball Tournament

On March 12-13th, come out to Pelican Park in Carencro, LA for the first annual Game Changer Softball Tournament which will benefit Special Olympics Louisgame changer 2iana athletes!

We are searching for a total of 30 teams to compete in this 2-day event.  The registration fee is $250 per team.  To register please call 337-896-5000 or call Special Olympics Louisiana at 800-345-6644.

Special Olympics Unified Sports Rivalry Series

The Special Olympics Unified Sports Rivalry Series will take place next Saturday, October 31st!   The flag football game will feature Special Olympics Louisiana Athletes competing on the same team with students from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and University of Louisiana

The event will take place at  Moore Park in Lafayette, LA for 9am.  We encourage fans from both teams to come out and cheer!  Click here to donate to your team, or both!

Special Olympics Unified Sports Rivalry Series

On Saturday, October 31st at Moore Park in Lafayette, LA for 9am, we will host a Special Olympics Unified Sports Rivalry Series!  The game will feature Special Olympics Louisiana Athletes cSummer Gamesompeting on the same team with students from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and University of Louisiana Monroe.

Volunteer for State Fall Classic

Have you registered to volunteer for State Fall Classic yet?  If so, we thank you for your volunteerism!  If not, click here to register now!

Volunteers play a integral role at all of our events.  At State Favolunteers-neededll Classic, volunteers serve in a number of roles, including umpiring softball games and keeping score for horseshoes. If you need service hours for school (or work) SFC is a great way to obtain them!
