We are getting in so many scarves and we couldn’t be happier!  We counted up to 75 boxes in the office today, filled with hundreds of scarves.  Check out this picture of the scarves… Notice the special guest.  Hint: She is wearing a cool, new Volunteer shirt that all of you can have if you come volunteer with us!

Scarve Our Athletes!

 We are still collecting scarves for our athletes to sport during this year’s 2012 State Indoor Games! So far, we have collected over 300 scarves and are receiving scarves every day!  To find out more information about sending scarves for our athletes you may visit the Scarves for Special Olympics website.  Remember all scarves must me received by March 4th, 2012. Scarves for Special Olympics

Scarves for Special OlympicsAs a symbol of unity, community and support within the Special Olympics Movement, handmade scarves will be gifted to athletes, coaches, families, volunteers and supporters of Special Olympics Louisiana. Louisiana is one of 40 Special Olympics Programs participating in the 2012 Special Olympics USA Scarf Project.
