Q  Are you employed?
A  Yes. I work at the Rapides Arc doing warehouse work using tools and fulfilling contracts with factories. I have been working there for 1 year.
Q  What is your favorite Special Olympics memory?
A  My favorite memories are travelling to competitions, making friends, and getting to bowl. I am much more social now that I’m involved in Special Olympics.

Q  What are some of your hobbies?
A  I love to shop for clothes. I also love to play the card game UNO.

Q What are your goals?
A  I want to become a professional bowler.

Q: What is your favorite memory from Special Olympics?

  • A: My favorite memories are competing in bowling and horseshoes.

    Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?

    A: My greatest accomplishment is playing in sports, mostly basketball.

    Q: What is your secret to success?

    A: I play hard.

    Q: What makes you a great athlete?

    A: I try to stay healthy.

Over the Edge was a 26 story success!

On Friday, September 7th over 30 people were brave enough to Geaux Over the Edge of the 26 story Benson Tower! We would like to thank our wonderful emcee, WWLTV’s Doug Mouton as well as Sir Saint, Gumbo and the Saints Sations.

Geaux Over the Edge

Are you a thrill seeker? Are you about to go Over the Edge? We can help!

Special Olympics Louisiana presents Over the Edge the Ultimate S.W.A.T. Experience on Friday, September 7th. Start your day by rappelling down the 26 story Benson Tower, then get flown by helicopter from the Superdome to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT facility to go through several different training courses.
