Get your chill on and join us for our 2017 Mandeville & Shreveport Polar Plunges! You can hop, skip or run your way into chilly waters in Mandeville at Fontainebleau State Park on March 18th or at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport on March 11th! Join along with other brave souls who will grin and bear it for the amazing Special Olympics athletes of Louisiana.

Not a water warrior and more of the timid type? Donate to a plunger! It’s the chill of a lifetime with several locations and dates to choose from so come feel the BRRR this March!

Polar Plunge Gonzales is happening tomorrow, February 18th! This chilly fundraising event will take place at Cabela’s in Gonzales, LA. Will you be Freezin’ for a Reason tomorrow?

If you can’t make it tomorrow, don’t worry. We will be hosting two more Polar Plunges in Shreveport, LA on March 11th and in Mandeville, LA on March 18th!

Take the Plunge!

Polar Plunge is fast approaching!  Have you registered yet?!  If not, do so today!  You have two options, Gonzales, LA on February 28th or Shreveport, LA on March 14th.  Polar Plunge

So What is it?  The Polar Plunge is one of Special Olympics Louisiana’s largest fundraisers, attracting hundreds of people to an otherwise deserted waterhole in the winter. Crowd favorites at this event include the Costume contest, musical entertainment, gigantic Ice sculpture, as well as vendor displays and giveaways.

2015 Polar Plunge

Polar Plunge is right around the corner!  We will host two (2) this year, the first will be in Gonzales, LA on February 28th and the other will take place in Shreveport, LA on March 14th.Polar Plunge

Polar Plunge is one of our largest fundraisers. With the help of our Law Enforcement Torch Run comrades this event is attracting hundreds of people to an otherwise deserted waterhole in the winter.
